VZ: Holiday Return Policy/Answers

I went into a flagship store here in NYC, right in SoHo. The woman was very nice and explained that because of the holidays you have until january 15th to exchange a phone.

She also explained that:

a.) Yes, there will be an OTA December 11.
b.) Yes, 2.0/2.1 will be released Q1 2010
c.) Nothing about a Passion or a Snapdragon processor.

If there is this so called passion, it better come out before January 15th

I told her i had got mine the day before thanksgiving and that's what she told me. I'm asuming it's late november.

just wanted to follow up on this. has anyone successfullly returned their droid and/or eris recently as part of the holiday return policy? has anyone been given a hard time trying to do this? i plan on doing this monday (the 11th), and want to know what to expect.
