I'm in Canada an is thinking of getting an N1. I have a friend coming from the States in July and was wondering, can you buy an unlocked N1 from a retailer? If yes, where? If I can get one brought to me, I can save about $100 in shipping and customs fees.

    Thanks for any help.

All of the N1s are unlocked. There is a T-Mobile 3G version (only works on AT&T 2G) but there is also a AT&T/Rogers 3G version (only works on T-Mobile's 2G) out now. You can only order them online at Google.com/phone, unless you find someone selling one on Craigslist or eBay. No retailers have them in stores.

If you are in Canada I thought you can just purchase the nexus on Google's website the official way.
