OK, I want to download the new BB, but after reading that there are some issues with the kernel, wanted to make sure that the one I have works

It says on the about phone screen, Kernel Version: 2.6.29-omap1-bekit-0.8.3-7x1000LV bekriebel@ubuntu #1

I don't even remember what the heck I downloaded, but I am assuming this is one of the 1 Ghz kernels

So, would that work, if it doesn't , I saw on ROM manager a Chevy for Froyo.

What would be the best way to load it, load BB and then the kernel or the other way around.

Don't want to end up in an endless loop that I can't get out of

    Thanks

I am using Chevy ULV 1200 and have used Chevy LV 1200 and P3 LV 1200.
P3 sucked my battery. ULV CAN be hit or miss on the reboots. Chevy LV has worked well overall and my phone happens to like the ULV.

Just make sure it's a Froyo kernel and nandroid backup before.
