Is there some way to tell my phone (an HTC Incredible) to ignore updates to apps that I don't use? For instance, the Farcebook app keeps updating, and I never use it. I don't Farcebook on my computer, why would I want it on my phone?
I have not rooted my phone, but I suppose I could. It got a long crack down the screen one night while it was just sitting on my desk, so the warranty is shot.
I want some updates, like for the games I play. But the updates for things I do not use just get in the way, AND they run up my data usage, so that I go over if I do the few things I actually want to do.
