I watch movies using the built in gallery ap. It also outputs to a flat panel via hdmi.

Download, no. Streaming, most websites that stream movies should work with the stock browser or Skyfire. Watch, yes the stock video player.

to stream videos... i recommend a site called YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

as far as downloading- i'm not sure how to do it on the EVO, but i'm sure there are ways especially if you root. i know for the iphone there's an app called MXtube that lets you save youtube videos on your hard drive, which would then make them accessible under your gallery.

if you have a video saved on your phone (like something you filmed) you can view it under the Gallery app.

All videos on your SD card will automatically populate in your gallery, as long as they are in a supported format.

What type of files are they? Your EVO supports mpeg-4 video files.

Use HANDBRAKE to convert your files to a compatible format.

If you want to play .avi files, try googling 'rock player for android.'

If you want to download, try googling 'andtorrent.'
