Help Water under screen

I had my phone in my pocket when I went in a river, I didn't realize it until about 5 minutes later. I put it in a bag of rice for about 3 days, it turned on, but there is water under the screen and I can't touch anything. What do i do??

Well, the longer in a sealed contained of a good desiccant (like dry rice), the better.

My daughter's N5 got pretty wet and I was able to get it dried-out and working again (took it apart, though, to remove the battery). It's not 100% or completely stable since any non-distilled (i.e., dirty) water is going to leave behind micro particles that will eventually lead to micro short-circuits, etc.
