    Android auto is compatible with my vehicle's infotainment system.....let's you text, navigate, play music, podcasts all by voice so u can drive safely

    Ask Google. Both Android Auto and Waze are Google products, so I think they should work together.

    Apparently it may be coming soon, but no official commitment yet.

    They are owned by the same folks, but I know that Waze is independently being developed. There are no API hooks in the software as of yet. I am anxiously awaiting a basic API so that Tasker can interact with it more than just starting it up.
