Lame! I wonder why? It's not like it's a particularly different size or shape than other Android devices...

Same thing happened with Adobe Flash, but that may have been fixed, don’t know.

Nope, it doesn't work on the Optimus S either... at least, Adobe Air doesn't. It's certainly annoying- I know the phone is capable of running this stuff, 'cause the rooting section has gotten most of 'em working. Oh well, it's not like there's any lack of apps on the market.

Adobe chose not to release a Flash player for the ARMv6 (or lesser) CPU that's used in the Optimus S. Adobe chose to support ARMv7 or newer. Some (non-Adobe) people ported Flash 10.2 to ARMv6. It's available HERE. Flash support is also built-into custom ROM called, gROM (probably using the same Adobe port). Flash works fine on gROM-- especially since gROM enables on-demand overclocking of the Optimus S's 600MHz CPU up to 806MHz. (That's a 34% speed increase.)
