Help Weird behavior with games and ads

So I play a few games, not many, but I started to notice that Angry Birds started resetting whenever an ad would show up. So when I am playing and I restart the level and whenever the screen switches to the ad the game restarts. On Words With Friends it goes to the screen where the ads are suppose to show, but no ad shows up and I can hit the return to game button. The Words With Friends one is no big deal as the game does not restart, but the Angry Bird one sucks it is always restarting. I have tried uninstall / reinstall and this did not change anything. It seems to be something with the ads.

Any suggestions? I have restarted the phone with no luck as well.

Are you running an ad blocker? It may be interfering. I find the paid versions of Angry Birds and Words with Friends to be worth it. Ads drive me nuts.

If you're rooted, droidwall blocks the ads on angry birds. Blocks all internet use except for apps you allow

No ad blocker not rooted just a stock phone with no changes.
