Use ultra keyboard. You won't miss Swype a bit.

I actually use SwiftKey now, and most of the time it's faster than Swype since it will predict your next word, usually you just have to enter 1 or 2 letters and it will suggest the word you're trying to enter. Only drawback, I still miss Swype typing with only one hand. :(

Yep Swype made a big mistake going OEM. Sorry I'm just not that into you now. Lol feels like breaking up with a needy boyfriend.

I hated swype at first but now i can't stand the regular keyboard. I need my swyping back with one finger only.

There is at least one version out that is still working. It will be really hard to find now tho since XDA no longer allows posting swype apks

Shapewriter is a nice alternative to Swype for now.

Swype is just too darn stupid at times. Swiftkey never could predict what I was going to say ... I guess I'm more interesting than most people lol

    Must try this ultrakeyboard.

The only one that even comes close to SWYPE is SlideIT. The rest simply are not as refined.

I have to disagree. Slideit is missing some key features such as the long keypress for alternate key choice. Sure it's there on a different menu but that's awkward. It also randomly force closes on my evo. Ultra for me is much faster, and being able to create skins is nice.
