I found this on Samsung's website to save battery.

    1. Force Stop any applications that are not being used.
    2. Touch Settings
    3. Touch Applications
    4. Touch Manage Applications
    5. Touch Menu
    6. Touch Filter
    7. Touch Running
    8. Scroll through list of all running applications. Select an application to close.
    9. Touch Force Stop
How do i know what applications are not being used?
    My list is huge....
    Alarm clock
    browser
    android keyboard
    android system
    browser
    calendar
    calendar storage
    checkin service

just to name a few... There has to be at least another 20 or 30

I wouldnt mess with that personally. If I have to kill an app I just use Advanced Task Killer. I know they pop back up but it kills thinks like the browser or Pandora whenever I need it.

Dont do either. If your looking for a performance boost, root your phone, and rid yourself of the apps you'll never use. They'll never trouble you again =D
