What apps do you have installed in your vibrant?

So I've scoured endlessly on Google looking for the best apps for Vibrant. Then I thought why not ask actual users, :)

These are MY apps on my vibrant:

  • WHERE - a restaurant finder. Pretty good, I've had issues with the app pinpointing my location, but could have been a fluke.
  • YELP - another restaurant finder.
  • FACEBOOK - no introduction needed. This app really needs an update. Keeps switching me b/w the app and the mobile site. Some of my mail threads on fb stop halfway and I can't see new replies.
  • MOTRIS - a tetris style game. Kind of good but hard to move the pieces around.
  • TASK MANAGER - an app killer. Pretty good. Could be a lot better, though.
  • FANDANGO - an app that helps you find theaters near you. Good.
What do you have??

BTunes Music app
360 Live Mobile 360 friends client
Directv Bar Finder app for looking restaurants that have Directv sports packages
Cardio Trainer - Exercise App

Fruit Ninja - Game
Calender pad - a better calender app then defualt

remove taskmanager, dont need it. i used to subscribe to the theory that you did.

for the first 30 days it was installed and all it did was make the phone crash reboot lock up endless problems...

4 days before my second month is up without it and i've only had to hard boot 1 time. It might be good for non 2.1 androids but the vibrant does not need this at all! works better without it!

Ahem....apps installed

13 pages...so far

meraki wifi scanner - self explanatory
open gl demos - more cool stuff the phone can do
printer share - sends pics to ur network printer! must have!
read system - budding programmer how to really cool
save sms - must have to save media content of your text msg's pics etc
tricorder - has some nifty info thats displayed..not sure if its real but looks like it is

Where did you find Angry Birds?

I think its in Appbrain. Or maybe I got the info from the Captivate forum and i had to install another app from app brain to get it to install but it works great . Its a beta version.

EDIT*
Here is that thread. Post #5 has a link and you do need App brain fast install to get it to install. I deleted fast install after it was done though because my Tweetcaster force closed everytime when it was installed. When i deleted it, it was fine again. http://androidforums.com/samsung-captivate/166977-angry-birds-market-but-not-if-you-t.html

So after going through my list of apps, both adding some new ones since my last post and deleting some, I found myself in the position of wanting to organize them. Does anyone know of an app, (like I need another one) that will either organize or group apps together? Honestly I would settle for a scroller that worked kind of like the contacts scrollbar. Starts with a, b, c..... and you slide it down on the right. I could have sworn that Lanuchpro had that built in, but either I can't find it, or I'm wrong. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I will also accept, "Get over it" and "Can't you leave well enough alone?"

Thanks,
A:thinking:

Not sure if this will solve your problem, but here is one method to organize apps, at least on your homescreens.

Like SamsungVibrant suggested, I use Folders. Have all my apps organized on 1 home screen! Works like a charm!
