What browser are you using?

I used to be a big Chrome/Chromium supporter until one of my machine got rooted/bootkit by browsing a website with Chrome under Windows 7.
I didn't click on any thing. I didn't accept anything nor did I download anything. It got rooted.

The machine's BIOS was infected and no virus/malware software could detect it.
The virus loaded at boot into memory so even the Windows Kernel could no detect it. There was a keylogger installed and this was under a non-admin user.

I had it sandbox and monitored it. I did a refresh re-install of Windows 7 on a new hard disk and it got infected again. So much for Windows 7 UAC and Chrome OS's touted security sandbox.

I hardly ever boot into Windows but if I ever did, I run a VirtualBox with Jolicloud or Linux Mint and do all my surfing inside it. If I ever need to connect with Windows (for software updates), I run it through a proxy server like Smoothwall.

For me, it is firefox.
