What do you show people when they want to see your slick new droid?

You know the drill. Your friends, coworkers, and family notice you with your new phone and want you to show them how it works. What do you show them to give them a fun little presentation to really wow them?

PhoneMyPC is awesome to show off if you're willing to pay for it. Pretty useful too, at least for me. Integrated voice search that can launch into navigation, Google Sky Map just for the "cool" factor, and just the general look of a personalized phone in general is usually an eye pleaser.

How did you get Google Maps street view to work? I tried that, and it said it only supported the Motorola Droid for some weird reason...

Well you make a search in google maps the address will show a bubble on top of the pinpointed location. Press the bubble and it will bring up options and listed should be street view. I haven't gone to Google maps in a while so u could be wrong

If it is dark outside I show google skymap, layar during the day, hit up the navigation voice search for something and get initial directions, and star Act 1 Video Player and watch GIJoe and let the person enjoy the screen and the action.

I typically show off the Google Navigator or the internet browser. The screen on my Droid is so crisp...and shows off very well!

Shazam: for my friends who play GTA:4, they always say its like having ZiT on your phone

Barcode scanner: I had a few strangers give me a weird look when I scanned a product and beeped like I was doing inventory on a product.

But most of my friends who has iPhones are all jealous that I can multitask :p (I always listen to radio stations on the iheartradio app and surf the web at the same time)

I like the Key Rings App. The concept is Great..not all scanners are sensitive enough to read it on my screen. But it's a real selling point!

I've not ran across anyone thus far that wanted to see my Droid, unless of course I simply wanted to show them, LOL.

Use Google Goggles to scan a girl's beer at the bar. Then bring her outside to show her Google SkyMap. You're golden. Also, voice searches seem to be novelty. And Shop Savvy has turned some heads.

I like the free app called steamy window. I guess if you wanted to impress your dude friends you could make the picture a naked chick and tell them to wipe the screen off... :p
