Gonna do some testing and wonder what you peeps think:)
Kinda looking for something or a few things that might drain the battery in as little as 4 hours, other than 4g as I don't have that.

    Thanks in advance.

Turn on GPS and Google Maps for sure and also WiFi if you've got an access point around. Also, run the camera a lot...making sure you get the camera flash going.

I heard something about wi fi not being as much of a battery drain as people think, but I think if you record video (720p of course) possibly combined with MisterEd's LED Light, while streaming pandora over 3G would hurt the battery pretty well........

That's just a theory though I have no way to test it out to be sure or how practical it is

Ya the wifi debate was basically proven when I had my hero.
I am more looking for stuff I can keep running while it is sleeping, that way it will be a more controlled environment.:)

Fire it up and connect to 3g or 4g (whichever is available), turn on google nav with gps, and connect via a laptop streaming media or downloading a large file over the wifi hotspot. Make sure you set the screen to stay on for the hell of it :D

Keep hitting the power button everytime the screen times out so that you can stare at the purdy screen. That drains your battery like no tomorrow :)

I understand this is old, but FWIW one of the most power-intensive things I have done on a cell phone is stream video to the phone and listen to the audio via a bluetooth headset.

Once Slingbox comes out with the mobile version for Android, you will really see a battery drain. My watching live streaming video sucked the battery dry on my Touch Diamond WinMo device in about 30 to 40 minutes.
