149.99, half inch smaller screen, looks like the same specs with ICS. I might would consider picking this up at that price alone. Discuss...

Dual core, 1 gig of RAM and ICS. All for $149. You can't beat that with a baseball bat.

Yeah thats not to shabby for 149

    And 1080hdp video.

I wonder what this does for our chances of getting an official ICS update that has been rumored around the board.

    Most likely high.

If true then that's super awesome! I'm not too sure about that half inch though, my girl has the attain which is 3.5 and it just looks so small compared to my connect. But damn is the price nice..

I'm pretty sure it said somewhere on there, that you can take pictures while recording...

Could it be said this phone will end up being better than ours? What's our ram size? I can't find the specs for that on the metro site

There pretty much the same. Except the connect has a 4" screen and gb. While the motion has a 3.5" screen and ics. They both have a gig of ram.
  13. pcgamer

    pcgamer Well-Known Member

    Possibly, and it costs less...

If cm9 was on the connect already and it was 200 bucks, I would of gotten it quick haha.

The motion has an s4 processor, what does the connect have? Anybody know?
  16. gigermunit

    S3

    Oh, thx. Didn't know

It's a huge improvement over the S2 which I have in my evo shift, the S4 is mostly GPU integration and power management over the S3.

So minus screen size there's no real cons to this Motion in comparison to our Connect so far?

Damn that price, I bought my connect the week it dropped at full 349.99, damn that price....
  20. pcgamer

    pcgamer Well-Known Member

Other than the price, they are pretty close.

It's a DAMN good phone for that price. A frikin steal. It'll probably drop down a bit in a month or two.

It's gonna fly off the shelves.

Off the shelf and into my hand lol

Def going to sell my Connect and buy the Motion.

I still can't get over the fact the (pretty much) upgrade to our connect will cost 200.00 less than what the connect cost when it dropped. M/f'ing metro...

    Edit:
Oh and the esteem is still @ 300+ btw

lets hope the phone is similar in other ways too. devs may be able to port ics or pick at the kernel and see what they need for the connect. but that's just wishful thinking
