    :thinking:+ emulator system images, skins, and hardware configuration to let developers test their applications on their Android implementation.... does this mean themes i came from the world of blackberry and i miss hunting for themes lol...?

    Not sure what you mean either, but as of right now, Android doesn't have skins/themes as an option.

    Only background images and some widgets.

    got this from the cupcake post. its at the bottem it looks like a refrence towards being able to theme or change skin of phone.... look>>>>

    o Enable handset manufacturers to extend the Android SDK with add-ons. SDK add-ons will include:
    + system libraries to let developers use additional APIs provided by handset manufacturers or from other 3rd party vendors that handset manufacturers chose to include
    + emulator system images, skins, and hardware configuration to let developers test their applications on their Android implementation

    My guess would be that its the skin of the phone in the emulator.

    I agree this is not intended, but I do think the device is skinnable, themeable. People just haven't dissected into that yet.
