I'm currently an iPhone 3G user, getting ready to make the switch to Android when my contract runs out (at the end of this month). Right now I'm pretty dead set on Sprint and leaning towards the Evo 4G (the other option would be the Epic 4G, assuming that it turns out to be a good phone as well). As an iPhone user...there was a lot that I was impressed with at first, but eventually all the things that I don't like about Apple and the iPhone got to me in the end. As the Evo 4G right now is the phone that I'm most likely going to go to, I was just wondering what people who actually have the phone, dislike about it. I've read on here that for most people, battery life is no longer an issue after upgrading to a higher capacity battery, conditioning the battery, and utilizing some task management. Is that true for the most part? I'm a pretty heavy user...not for phone calls or texts as much...but constant data usage all throughout the day (I'll be in a 3G only area btw...so 4G will be turned off for now). Is there anything else that Evo owners aren't all that happy with? I'm especially interested in hearing from those who have already upgraded to 2.2. Also, are many of you gamers? How is gaming on the Evo? I know that the Epic 4G is supposed to have a much better GPU and that the Evo is capped to 30 fps for some reason...but does this translate to actual poor gaming experiences for Evo users? Benchmarks don't always tell the full story, as a most games will never reach the CPU/GPU stress of the benchmark software anyway. Thanks for responding (and sorry if this has been posted already...I tried searching for it, but didn't see anything).
