This is an old topic i'm sure but help would be appreciated.

How do I get the Avatar movie off my Vibrant in a file format capable of running on my computer or HDTV?

you can't, spend the 25 dollars on the blu-ray and watch it like it should be seen on your TV.

It's a drm protected file. You can't just convert the file type to play on your TV. I don't think it will play on anything but the Vibarant actually.

Has anyone tried broadcasting it on their HDTV via DLNA?

At least you still have your movie. I was dumb enough to format my sd card and lost it forever. I've been calling T-mobile stores for the last two weeks to see if anyone returned one so I could switch the cards and get it back. :(

Why would you want to? The phone version is low res (480x800). Watching it on a TV I'd at least want 720p, preferably 1080p.

Not a big loss. I did the same thing knowing what would happen. Avatar is a mediocre movie and watching it on a phone because it "looks so good" is silly.

I'd still like to have it back.

I put Boondock Saints on my phone and it's so nice when I'm on the treadmill or stationary bike or something like that at the gym to have something to watch I feel like it makes time go by faster.
