You talk to other people on your phone, right? Guess how your voice gets to their handset...... :D:D

Without a radio, your HTC Desire is just a $600 pocket calculator that can play Angry Birds.

The radio is the software that allows the hardware and Android to connect, like drivers on Windows

This is why I love this forum so much and why I always come back - perfect balance between witty banter, useful info and lashings of geekiness!

...and I've been on a fair few forums in my time! :)

You know, you're right. Android oriented forums tend to be a lot more social than iPhone forums where people lash out at each other and call names, etc. I don't see too much of that here or on XDA.

I guess we Androids are more human than humans.

The iphone users Ive met are - apple this and apple that & it does that & does that...we've all met them to some degree or another...

Thiers one lad I know - nice bloke etc..nearly killed himself (financially) for the bloody phone...& that was a 3GS: NOW he's on a 4 variant...

When he visited, my place of work, I asked him about his phone situ. (now) & he mentioned about the iphone 4 - so just glanced to my Android/Desire & said that' betters his and more...his face was a picture... LOL

Oh I SOO love shattering the iPhone 'fruit bubble' lmao.......

Why is it they think theyve got THE BEST PHONE EVER !!!!!!!

Don't forget about the bigger geebees.

I find it a disgrace that they can now get Android on their jailbroken phones. They made their idecision, let them suffer the iconsequences. ;)
