i just bought my very first smart phone and possibly the biggest upgrade of my life. i went from the motorola w490 for about 4.5 years to the used vibrant.

it is awesome!!! i love it. (keep in mind im new the the smart phone world)

i understand that apps are running from the "sdcard" when you go to the list that tells all your app. what i do not understand is that there is no sd card in the sd card slot on the phone and how is it saying that these apps and files are from the sdcard?

i can go to the file directory and pull up files from the "sdcard" folder. there are pictures and app files in there. where is it coming from?? and it says 13.4gb capacity.

btw: i got a used samsung vibrant t959 2gb with android ICS 4.0.3 installed from the buyer.

so whats with the sdcard thing?

    thanks.

Its talking about your internal sdcard. The 2gb your refering to is the space set asside that is dedicated for apps.
