    Hi,

I'm fairly new to Tasker (and to Android, if it comes to it!). My question is, when you execute a task to disable a profile, do the exit tasks for that profile run? I didn't expect that they would, but it seems to me that they do? Am I right?

    Thanks,

    Tim.

No. Disable would disable the entire profile including the exit task

Thanks for the reply. I agree and that's what seems logical, but the run log seems to indicate quite clearly that when a profile is disabled by a task the exit tasks run.

The exit task runs whenever the profile ceases to be active. When you disable a profile, it ceases to be active

I didn't know that, but it matches the user guide and I just confirmed it through testing. Good info.
