Help What the heck is this icon and why wont it go away?

Look at the top left corner of the screen. It just appeared today. It shows no notification when I pull down to check.

Yes, I think it is a sync. Open up your running apps and force close them one by one until you see it go away. Now you will know which app is constantly trying to sync to where you can either delete or disable

This is exactly what I ended up doing! Turns out it was the Metal app. There was no reason for it to be doing that at all. I ended up having to uninstall it and reinstall it to make it go away.
