What to do first?

I'm new to the whole smartphone thing. Should have my DI within the hour. The first thing to do of course is charge the sucker. Get 'er to 100%, turn 'er on, run thru the setup...then what? I guess I'll spend some time in the tips and tricks section, just wondering if there's a 'before you do anything else...do this'.
I'll setup my social networks, I have crappy AOL mail, never done the Google voice or Gmail or anything.

It's easy just follow the setup prompts it will walk you through it. Then you want to look at the marketplace for apps you want.
