I'm sorry, but what has this to do with the HTC Desire? :/

Mine was a Panasonic J Series like the one below. Had it when I was about 19 or 20 I think, that was 15-16 years ago !

Funny to see that on this site my first phone costs nearly as much now as a Desire :D

    14 or 15... Probably 15 I think.
It was a Nokia candy bar phone... I'll post a picture later.

    Still have it somewhere.

I was 16 and it was the Philips Savvy - Christmas present from my parents.

I worried that I would never use it, that no one would call me! (Before I discovered text messaging)

Two lines of text and no colour screen:

Mine was an Oki 1130, these are the only pics of it I could find. It was analogue and barely made it through the day on a charge. (And people complain about the Desire's battery life!)

I was about 18, this was back when O2 was Cellnet and they charged by the minute, so a 10 second phone call cost 50p!

See my signature picture for all the phones I have ever owned.

First being the Philips (almost as big as a banana) C12 the Cousin of the Savvy on BT Cellnet, loved the Life Calculator on that. That was when I was 13.

A Nokia 5110 in late 1998 so I would have been 20. Was inspired to buy one after my car broke down in the middle of nowhere on a night that it was pouring with rain and blowing a gale.
