Ok folks, imagine this: You just got your HTC EVO and you're at work. You only have a few minutes to show off this phone to people there before heading back to the job. You pop the kickstand, you start up the video player and you play a few minutes of .... ???

Which movie? If you could put any movie on there for a quick demo, which one would you pick? Obviously, not for content, but form. The one that looks the best?

Come on, I know you have ideas. :)

p.s. I know this thread is lame compared to all the others, but still....I'd like to know!

+1 for Dark Knight. It's a good flick plus it has the awesomeness needed to convey the image quality and size the Evo affords.

Hmmm something with Heath Ledger... What about A Knight's Tale? Or Brokeback mountain. Yeah I'm sure that would really show it off! Ha ha ha jk
U could also show off transformers 1and 2. Or G.I. Joe.

Noe I I used Bee Movie because it shows off the colors well and I was watching Resident Evil 3 the other day which both impressed people with the screen quality but when I first got the phone, I put on Avatar and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Those two plus a program called Aloqua made a client order an Evo the same day.

ummm, make a digital copy of your DVD's to watch on the go using various software titles available or find a friend with a large movie collection who is willing to share.

Check out AVSForums.com. They have a thread that lists Blu Ray picture quality tiers. Any one of those movies.

A good portion of the top tier movies are Pixar movies...

Monsters Inc was redone in HD, and looks pretty amazing.

I think the Transformers movies that came pre-loaded on the HD2 looks pretty good on the Evo.

Depends, do you want your choice of movie to say the phone's cool or you're cool? 8)

I'll second votes for Avatar or UP. Pixar animation really looks good on this screen.
