What's a good "Planner" app?

    I have the calendar that app that comes on the HTC desire, however I was wondering if there was a better app for scheduling work hours/school hours/projects/appointments.

    I like SpringPad for tasks and notes and checklists. Although there are no reminders for your tasks, which is a slight let-down. You can create your own categories and sort the view by those categories, or the due date, creation date, etc. Pretty cool app. It's free and it has a widget. Gorgeous interface as well.

    I use the stock calendar + Pure Calendar widget (~$2)+ gTasks by osco or whoever.

    The widget shows both appointments and (for example) dated tasks. This approach has the benefit of being synced to google calendar and google tasks bidirectionally.
