Am I "rooted"? I don't know. ROM.... Hey, it is a new phone, it would be nice if you tell me how to get this information.

Ok, me again. I am having problems with the phone and the sounds I set for what ever being re-set to something else.
Anyway, an interesting thing I noticed.
Today I was using the phone and I pressed and held the HOME key - to switch tasks.
I usually see 6 tasks listed and they are ones I have run myself.
Today I noticed PC Syncchronisation was listed.
But!
I have never invoked it. If/when I plug it in the PC, it is "internet sharing" 99.9% of the time.
I have only twice (since bought) run the program.
Many more times has it been connected to the PC and "internet sharing" and the sounds set top what I want several times since.
Today the sounds needed reseting to what I want.
So, I am wondering:
Is this PC Sync program causing the problem?
