Help Whats up with my HTD desire?

It keeps on restarting itself and they a pop up will come up saying 'sorry! the process andriod.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.' and then the only button to press is 'force close'. Once i touch 'force close' the same pop up will just come up again. The only way to turn off my phone is to take out the battery and even they the same pop up will come up!

Whats up with it?

EDIT: Sorry about title, i ment HTC desire.

Does this coincide with you installing any apps? If so maybe uninstall the app(s)and see if the problem goes away?

Took it back to care phone warehouse and because its in the 28 days HTC guarantee, I got a new one
