I was reading some news articles and came across this:

what's up with that? is there something i missed, or is this like an international release or something? isn't the droid eris the same phone i'm using now, and have been using for some time? i don't get it...and the article is dated april 1, 2010...

It seems to be for a U.K. release.

At least they aren't getting it with 2.1 installed. Really doesn't matter though I suppose. It will come when it comes. Kinda funny, I figured we would be catching up smartphone wise to the Euro's, not the other way around.
