Where is mytether?Support

    I just bought a rooted Moment and I am new to this awesome android stuff. The seller said he was using mytether and getting 3.5mps so i assume the wifi tethering should be somewhere on my phone. but I can't find it anywhere. Can anyone help me? Is it somewhere in the binary folder in my SD card?

    haven't tried mytether, so can't vouch for it. but this app works really well.

    go to the market an search "m900 wireless tether", or use the barcode scanner app and scan the barcode on this page:
    m900 Wireless Tether for Root Users

    that should give you the best wireless tether app for this particular phone. it works great.

    I use the same program and it works great.

    I have to question 3.5mb on tether though. I've personally never seen anything higher than 1.5. I'm not sure what the limit is offhand though on 3g.

    It could be that the previous owner of your Moment moved the app into /system/app and not on the sd card or the default app storage location.
    As for tethering apps, I personally use pdanet. It hasnt failed me yet...
