I use Milestone Overclock to actually overclock my milestone and then overclocking widget to manage the speeds. Works amazing.

NOTE: Milestone Oveclock works with many other devices, not only milestone.

I overlock with JRummys D2/X Overclock and control my CPU speeds with SetCPU. The best way to save power is to have the CPU low when screen is off or battery is low/CPU temp is high.

I use JRummy's also. It's very nice. SetCPU is sort of optional now (when using this app), since the overclock slider was added.

Can you give some insight as to how exactly this is done? Or how you set yours to save battery power, yet still overclock? I am using the app, but am not quite sure I know what I am doing.

This is my post from another thread. Obviously if you aren't pushing the CPU past 1000 its considered underclocking.

    In order of highest priority

    Screen off 300/300
CPU temp 99 or higher 600/300
    Battery 50% or lower 600/300
    Battery 75% or lower 800/300
    Charging/Full 1250/400

Also my brightness is 10% and I came from 25%. I barely notice the difference now and i'm sure the battery life has improved.

Gotcha. I missed where you said in your original post that you are using Setpcu for your speeds. I was more referring to the settings you are using with Jrummy.

Yea I use my SetCPU for profiles and use JRummy's overclock app to overclock to 1.25 low voltage.

I am doing the same thing (SetCPU and Jrummy). I was wondering what people were using for their settings with Jrummy. I am using 1.3 low voltage. So far so good.

Could someone explain what the difference is between On Boot, and On Demand?

On boot means that it takes your settings and saves them and resets them when the phone reboots, otherwise they are lost. I am not as clear about on demand.

OK. So you mean that settings that you change in Jrummy, when set on boot, will not take effect until you reboot?

Then perhaps Ondemand means te changes take place on the fly?

Also.. Does SetCPU trip up Jrummy? I noticed that in SetCPU it has the max scaling at 1000000 but i have the profile set up in Jrummy at 1.3

To have a profile overclocked on SetCPU you must first overclock then it allows you to go over 1000 max. You can now make profiles using Jrummy's overclock app as of the update I received this morning. I still perfer to use SetCPU because I have my profiles already set up and I like the look of it.
