    hello everyone

i've been noticing that people are saying to wait till next year before buying tablet. i think that is because there will be a better version of Android by then ?

i have been looking at getting a cheap one to use for email and internet when traveling.

what is the best one at the moment , just cheap ones i mean.

i have no Android devices at present

    :)

frankly there is not enough detail about up comming tablets to answer your question.

the only one out now.. with details .. worth mentioning.. is Galaxy Tab. Soon to be released in USA.

I say wait a few more months.. and see what drops!

If wifi is all you need or if tethering is an option for you then you may want to consider the Archos 101 tablet due in November.

    Welcome dude / dudette,

If you on a quest to find a tablet try the archos series as riskr mentioned, as we speak there is the Archos 32 currently available right now, it has been hacked to acces the full android market, and if i recall it can connect to a phone that is 3g / 2g (aka edge) capable if you are on the go. But no multitouch so ja.

    I think it costs 150 $ or Rands 1400

    Cool dude :)

    Keep well
