I'm planning to buy a Samsung i7500 Galaxy when available in the UK. I'll probably buy an unlocked one on Ebay or similar. This is because I spend over half the year outside the UK, travelling. This is mostly in Europe and the USA but can be elsewhere.

I'm therefore looking for a UK SIM-only deal for voice (light usage of perhaps 100 minutes per month), SMS (very few, perhaps 5 per month), and 3G data. A good deal on international roaming 3G data would be especially welcome.

    Any suggestions?

After researching some more, I think I'll just stay with Orange, which I've been using up to now. There doesn't seem to be much difference between the main networks.

    Crisp7,

That's interesting; I didn't know they allowed tethering. I'll check them out.
