    Hi,
Why G1 can't display the missed called name, even I have that name in my Contact list. It awful to memorize the number and look back who called me. Another issue is what is the sent time? It don't correspond any thing! I got a missed call at 6PM and saw the sent time is something different? What is this means?

Is there any way to solve this issues. Or any application that I can download and use.

I am very much disappointed having my first so-called "smart phone" G1. It has lack of features what other cheap handset can provide!

    Thanks.

Not sure about your setting, but my phone reports all contacts names for calls in, calls out, missed calls. If the Name/number is not in my list of contacts then I will get a callerID or Unknown ...

    Thanks for the help.
Well I have imported my contacts from SIM card. I don't use the contact sync option. What you mention I can see in Call log view. But I was asking about the notification when some one called you and you could not pick up and went as missed call. Later you would get notfication Who Called and there I found the name is not displayed even if it is in my Address book.

Would you let me know what settings you meant. So I can check for me as well.

    Thanks a lot.
