If you are like me, you have been impatiently waiting for bluetooth support for keyboards / joysticks specifically the wii controller.

Is it just me who wants this or what???

I'm on the developer forums all the time and hardly see anyone mention this.

All I know is that the nexus supported this feature, but the Evo doesn't. Seems that Sense UI screwed up this capability.

HOWEVER, after installing android 2.2, with bluetooth fully functioning it seems that it still doesn't work which leads me to believe that the bluetooth HID profile is missing.

    Human Interface Device Profile (HID)
Provides support for devices such as mice, joysticks, keyboards, as well as sometimes providing support for simple buttons and indicators on other types of devices. It is designed to provide a low latency link, with low power requirements. PlayStation 3 controllers and Wii Remotes also use Bluetooth HID.

Bluetooth HID is a lightweight wrapper of the Human Interface Device protocol defined for USB. The use of the HID protocol simplifies host implementation (ex: support by Operating Systems) by enabling the re-use of some of the existing support for USB HID to also support Bluetooth HID.

Lets drum up some support for this.

Post on here and xda forums, see if we can get them to kindly help us out here.

Yeah and we heard HTC Sense didn't muck with the BlueTooth, but then again, why DOES it work on other 2.1 android devices?

Please keep this on top! I would love to be able to use my wii or ps3 controller with my evo. On the plus side, it's saving me money on all the *oid emulators that I would end up buying, if said support were made available:p

I really hope they figure this out. Playing emulators with the touchscreen controls makes the experience more frustrating that it's worth in my opinion.
