Why are my pictures saved in 3 different folders?

I always use the stock camera app to take pictures. I do not know why but I have 3 subfolders in the DCMI folder: 100MEDIA, Camera Shots, Camera

Are there any settings to tweak? I would like to have all my shots in a single folder...

Any suggestion?

The stock cam put its pictures in 100MEDIA.

The other folders are created from apps whose work with pictures/videos.
You have to find these apps, go in their settings and choose an other folder.

My camera puts pics in DCIM/camera, but as Harry2 stated, other apps use other directories.
You may have those other directories but that doesn't mean your camera app is using them.

Still do not know why the stock camera app needs 3 folders...
