why is it that youtube blocks so many videos from being viewed on mobile?

    it is definitely true. i have a 'favorites' list of youtube videos i made on my PC but most of them are not viewable on my EVO. It's frustrating. At the very least, unviewable videos should be excluded from searches and things like that so I don't have to waste my time finding one that works.

    i think its an descrimination done by the uploader of that video (disableing embeding), since android app acts as an leacher i.e we dnt get to see there ads nor we can subcribe them .
    only solution is an 3rd party app like youtube downloader for desktop .

    There's another solution. Anyone running froyo with flash can go on the regular full youtube site from their phone and watch the video that way.

    Requires Wifi, 4G or strong 3G signal (I used the latter)
