Might wanted to lock it until then , as it could cause major confusion.

I can't lock or delete threads. I reported it to hopefully stave off confusion.

We added this so that members interested in this phone, coming to Australia very soon, can begin to gather press releases, have their own pre-release threads and so forth.

Pretty much everything that people do in other forums, so there's no cause for alarm, locking and certainly not deleting this forum.

According to information given us, this is the name of the model - Samsung S3 4G LTE, so that's why the forum is named what it is.

And by the way, we don't know if this model will spread to other markets at this time or not.

So is it going to be the same S3 as here in the US or what? mine is a 4G LTE....:hmmmm2:

I am sure it will be quite similar, and in fact, they may have named it just a smidge different, just to be able to differentiate between the two versions.

    Samsung is a Korean firm.
Isnt the 4G spec in Korea the same as Telstra? That would be a no brainer for the Aussie market then...

I understand that this is going to the UK as well.

Again, not saying that our US phones are not 4G LTE.

Just that so far, this one has a different name.

Our forum position on this may change, may not. It's all very preliminary.

I picked up this phone from Orange in the UK not too long ago,
They told me it became available on the 3rd of October.
Its available in Titanium Grey through them and they have exclusivity on that colour.
I think it looks nicer than the pebble blue, and as from what I have read, it has an extra gig of Ram as opposed to the standard GSM S3
  14. got mine 4 days ago...S3 4G from telstra...has jellybean 4.1...came from iphone...death to iphone!!

Rather than fragmenting the SIII community purely based on "LTE" being in the name for an otherwise exact same phone, wouldn't keeping the SIII together and adding the respective ATR sub-forums be better for everyone?

(already have confused users in the other SIII forum)

I dug this little article up. Galaxy S3 vs Galaxy S3 4g LTE

Samsung Galaxy S3 VS Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE - Recombu

At first I was confused as to the difference before I found this article, but I'm glad to know all the "galaxy s3's" in the US are 4g already. The article does mention the Galaxy s3 4g LTE will have an extra gig of ram, but I do not know how it compares to a US version of a galaxy S3, and if they are comparing the 4g LTE to a non 4g UK/Australian model.
