I have a friend with a Nexus One who has gotten 2-3 updates for his Flash Player (that he downloaded from the Market) but we have been stuck with the same flash player and the only way to update is to wait for the APK (from the market) to leak so we can manually install.

Yea, I've manually installed the newest version that's on the market on other devices but It'd be much easier to download it from the market and set it to auto update. Are we eventually going to get a Flash 10.1 app on the market or are we stuck having to manually update?

From what I understand it was included in the OTA update unlike the update for the Droid. Can anyone else verify this?

Yes it was, but a newer version was released right after which you need to manually update.
