Help Why new messages are not showing in inbox

I have recently installed Go sms Pro on my Android phone. But since then, it's not showing any new sms in inbox. I am getting new message notifications, able to check message instantly, but when going to the inbox- there's nothing new. let me know how can I resolve the issue. Stock message is enabled and in active mode.

There should be a setting in Go sms to make it your default messaging vs. the stock message app.

It's already default app. New messages are showing as popup too. But when going to inbox, there's nothing new.

Are there any other messaging apps on your device? The reason I ask, is my wife's S6 came with 2 messaging apps which posed an issue.

I am using Go sms pro and default sms app.
Device is Lenovo a369i.
Messages were working fine till I install Go sms pro from the playstore.

no. it's invisible there too

The commonest cause for this is if the phone's time or date is set wrong. Then the newly arrived messages appear to be much older than those already received, and get added way back in the inbox. Then unless you realise what's happening and think to scroll back you never see them in there.

Get Textra or Chomp SMS - far better.

No. there's no date or time issue on the phone as I am regularly using task reminders and alarm there. I scrolled down to the bottom and searched by sender keyword too. but no result.

I faced the same issue for textra too. that's why I installed Go sms pro. I contacted them via mail, but no response from there end till this date.

I passed on Textra and GoSMS some while ago. I have EvolveSMS now.
