So now that Android is #1 I am always shocked that you can not use prepaid cards like you can for Itunes ? I hate the fact that you have to use your credit card to buy Apps. Is there any talk about this changing ?

Besides the official google gift cards linked above, any visa/MasterCard/amex gift card works.

I have never seen these in BC Canada. So they are not in every store.

I'd imagine in Canada they have those Visa/Mastercard gift cards too. That works like a prepaid card.

Yes I know I can use a visa or gift card but it just seems funny how those gift cards are not in every store.

Not really. You have to know your markets. If Google doesn't think they can earn more than it costs to sell in your area, they'll probably not market there. Just like I wouldn't expect to see it in the middle of nowhere Wal-Mart here in the states. Not every product will be successful in every market.
