    Sounds great. Only concern would be privacy, over how much the school can track your comings and goings with the built-in GPS and other apps.

    There was an uproar recently over a school that gave students Macbooks, and then activated the webcam on the Macbook remotely without the students' knowledge, in their homes. The school just settled a lawsuit on that.

    Don't want to look at a gift horse in the mouth, but there are privacy concerns to be addressed.

    I prefer my own private Android phone line for that reason. Only I can see my calls, data usage, and location information.
