So I can connect to a WiFi connection with my phone. And I have a widget that tells me how much upload/download is done via WiFi and how much is via my mobile network. So I know it's doing something. However.... I had my service cut off recently (apparently you're supposed to pay your bill now. Who knew?) and I found that while my network access was cut off, I couldn't even access the internet on my mobile via WiFi. My mum has a Galaxy III and she was able to access the internet via WiFi whilst we were down (she's on my plan). I checked my settings, but couldn't see anything that could be changed. I had planned to give this phone to my daughter when I upgrade (soon hopefully) so she could use it as a mini-tablet - download apps via the WiFi and check her mail....just no phone or texting services (not yet anyway). So some people say they can do this. Some say they can't. I'm on Rogers Wireless. It's an Xperia X10 It's Android 2.3.3. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions/info?
