Help WiFi problems on the Desire FIXED

Ok after playing around for ages trying to figure out a simple fix, try this one:

Settings>

Wireless & Networks>

Wifi Settings>

Menu>

Advanced>

Scroll to bottom of page and check on DNLA auto-IP.

You should now have your WiFi signal back and working.

Please post if this is a success so we all now it's not just on my Desire HD.

My DLNA setting is NOT checked and my wifi works fine .....

Spoke to soon, I've got my WiFi back but still can't access the internet, Orange deny all responsibility yet HTC state it's an orange problem.

It depend on the wifi types. But if u check, u should be able to connect without any connection problem.

Turn off 3G whilst using WiFi and assign yourself a static IP address to each network you're connecting to. That should sort any issues you're having.
