Root wifi tether limits

here i thought you could only connect 1 device over wifi. Not the case. I was at a bestbuy store and had 3 ipads (heavens forbid i know lol) at the same time and was loading youtube video on each one. has anyone tested to see what the limit is?

Dont know for sure, but its most likely more data limits at the moment. More devices will use lots of data.

I think you can use 8 max at one time with most android wifi tether, at least thats what they said about the Evo at googlei/o

i was thinking that, i know thats the case in Froyo wifi tether and HTC Sense Wifi Tether but i dont know about this one :/. too bad i dont have 9 wifi devices to try it out. Guess im going back to bestbuy to the laptop section lol
