Wifi tether you tube issues using galaxy s3

Seem to be having issues when using wifi tether on my sprint galaxy's s3. Phone is rooted on stock rom. I can read forums or browse the Internet for at least an hour with no issue. The issue arises when I'm try to stream video via you tube on the nexus 7. I have tried video via the you tube app and from the website. It works for about 3-6 minutes of video and then the data flow stops. The phones quits showing data transfer and the video stops. Just have the spinning circle in the screen like its working or buffering.

What's weird is I don't have the issue when using my iPad 2. Seems like it has to be the nexus 7. The n7 is rooted but still otherwise stock.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!
