Probably a stupid question and a no brainer answer to some of you, but I'm still new to Android. Once this phone is rooted with the Sense UI rom, will the live wallpapers and everything else that is new with the N1 still work through Sense or does that go out the window?

    Thanks in advance.

Or do you guys think it's possible that the cool Sense widgets will simply be released on the marketplace for the N1 eventually? I love the Facebook, email, calendar, contacts,, and Twitter widgets on Sense.

I saw someone say that the widgets will be sold on the market by HTC but I don't know if that is true or not.

HTC has made Widgets for <2.0 Android devices, so you could think that they may become available for the Nexus One. Even still, they aren't the same as ones that come with Sense UI devices. Either way I think we'd have to wait for more HTC phones to run 2.0 before anything would change.

But to your original question I would say yes, live wallpapers will run on any OS 2.1 devices - They are not a Nexus One specific option.
