I had to uninstall and reinstall to get Swype to work. Once reinstalled, it does work.

Just so I'm sure I understand; you reinstalled it from a backup, or you re-downloaded the installer which re-downloaded and reinstalled the app?

even though i later discovered that i had the apk in the downloads section of internet settings, i searched for swype in the market, found the beta, logged in (that took me a bit to remember which email i used) and it reinstalled.

Thanks, that's what I was wondering.

Kind of annoys me that despite the fact that Titanium always backs it up, I can never reinstall it from that backup.
