see I've just done one without icons cos I have a scrollable dock..so a single 'screen' size wallpaper will be perfect with no scroll on it...then everything else will jsut fit over..

    http://i1176.photobucket.com/albums/x334/deanshep85/snap20110503_191411.jpg

obviously I left everything else that isnt near the dock alone....im guessing you'd cut an paste that over the previous work? least hope so otherwise I'll do ya another BLANK page if you want it..

    And... Here ya go, SteppingSplash.

To save it in full 960x800 resolution, use the download button on the linked page or the share button to email it to an address accessible on your phone, then save the attachment. If your phone wont save it full size, or it looks fuzzy, download and save it with a computer, then USB or email the full sized version to your phone.

  4. I'm not finding a download or share button... (using my phone)
But I long pressed the picture and "Set as Wallpaper", and it's pretty blurry and there's a gray border around it :/

    Thanks!

dont long press the picture, actually click it...the link is embedded in the picture itself to Eyebeams collection....well in this case, JUST to the proper download of that picture :)

OK, see if dean's advice works first...

If that doesn't, PM me an emaill address accessible from your phone and I'll send you the full sized one. Then you can just save the attachment.

Sorry about the hassle - Picasa changed the way it displays large images a while back and now it kinda sucks.

Edit: OK, I figured out a way to post the full sized one here. Make sure you enlarge it (there's a message at the top of the pic next to this [IMG] symbol, right?) before saving.

Ok Dean, give this a try. I'm not sure I think it's great, but I couldn't come up with a better way to do it. Hope you like it anyway.

an god im already thinking slightly different ideas to it...like maybe a slightly 'damaged' dock that is slightly leaning towards andy or something lol

Wow, that works better than I hoped for! Looks great. It's always great to see how these look in action, so thanks for posting it.

Just let me know if you have any other ideas, and I'll see what I can do.

maybe a slightly 'damaged' dock that is slightly leaning towards andy or something lol ;):D

using the EXACT same picture and everything..

If I do that, wouldn't it look better if the text icons were on it as well. That way they'd tilt with it. Then, you could just use transparent icons over the wallpaper for those functions.

Edit: If you agree that that would look best, I'll need a screeshot of the wallpaper without the android, the dock and the text dock icons.

true but your forgetting I have scrollable docks...so wouldnt work too well and I dont want it tilted too much...just a little to make it give the impression hes taking it..but not enough that the text comes out the boxes..

That's a good idea. Might want to adjust the height on the end two just a little as well.

    deanshep85 Well-Known Member

good point...I just slanted them 2.5 degrees and they all work well but yea think might play around with the heights on them a lil...

but god damn man...cheers for this :D...is there anychance you could do a smaller andy popping out from underneath the clock?

as in, exactly the same wallpaper but just adding another andy

oh and with what I asked bout another andy popping out from under the clock...im using the gingerdroid skinned fancy widgets clock as shown...and I have alot of dead space under the clock so you dont have to make it a smaller andy...

EDIT: I didnt see that post from you...so disregard what I said AT THE MOMENT lol lemme test :D im all giddy like lol

the new pic is good, but is there anyway you can make andy look more like hes holding onto the clock a lil?
  24. eyebeam

    eyebeam Well-Known Member

Most likely, yes. So, you want me to use the clock in that last screenshot as a guide then?

Get back to me and I'll get it done a little later on.

BTW - Great job on the icons! Looks super nice.

oh and Im now down to using ONE homescreen...I did have three but then realised the 'clock' andy was part of the background he was then just floating in 'mid air' hahaha
